Plush New XUV500 hits Nepali market

The Plush New XUV500 sets a new benchmark in the premium SUV segment in Nepal with its bold new design, luxurious interiors and high power, the company said in a press statement. The car guarantees customers a great driving experience with its top-of-the-line features.
The Plus New XUV500’s features include a mHawk155 engine that delivers power of 155HP and torque of 360 Nm, a 6th generation electronically-controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger (eVGT), an enhanced suspension and a quiet cabin. These features of the vehicle help the car perform better, especially on off-road excursions, said the company.
Similarly, the vehicle comes with other attractive features such as an electric sunroof with first-in-class ORVM logo projection lamps, new smart watch connectivity, an 18-cm (7 inch) touch screen infotainment with GPS navigation, and an Arkamys-enhanced audio-making device. All these features make the new XUV drive a premium car. The vehicle also offers best-in-class safety with six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold/hill descent control, first-in-class emergency call, disc brakes on all wheels and several other safety features, the company said in a press statement.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Sanjay Jadhav, vice president of International Operations (South Asia) Mahindra and Mahindra, said that the XUV500 has been a trendsetter in the premium SUV segment with its great value proposition of head-turning style, aspirational hi-tech features, unmatched performance and best-in-class safety since its launch in 2011. It continues to be the frontrunner in the segment when it comes to setting new trends and pushing new boundaries, he said. “With the launch of the Plush New XUV500 in Kathmandu, we have strengthened its value proposition further by creating new benchmarks in styling and taking the thrill of driving to the next level.”
